McAllister is a large city park on San Antonio's north side, close to 1,000 acres, with both asphalt paths and unpaved natural-surface trails. The paved loops make it easy to run or ride with a stroller or road-style bike, while the dirt sections serve runners and casual mountain bikers. Mileage is split between surfaces, so check the city trail map to choose your route. Trails close when saturated after heavy rain.

Rides, runs & races nearby

Routes and trail info are for planning only and may be out of date. Conditions change fast after rain. Never cross a low-water crossing with water flowing over it. Ride and run only where it's public and allowed; respect closed gates, private property and park rules. A line on a map is not permission to be somewhere. You go at your own risk. Spotted a problem?
