Walnut Creek Metropolitan Park is a large public park in north Austin, home to a network of natural-surface trails of more than ten miles that is shared by hikers and mountain bikers. The park also holds sports fields, a pool and picnic areas, and a paved regional trail passes through it. Runners can mix dirt loops of different lengths, and riders will find a range of options. Trails are shared, so expect bike traffic.

Routes and trail info are for planning only and may be out of date. Conditions change fast after rain. Never cross a low-water crossing with water flowing over it. Ride and run only where it's public and allowed; respect closed gates, private property and park rules. A line on a map is not permission to be somewhere. You go at your own risk. Spotted a problem?
